About

A family company, for family readiness.

Provision Planner is independent and family built. No investors to impress, no data to sell, just software that helps families answer an honest question: how ready are we, really?

Why this matters

The unexpected is getting less rare

560 disasters a year by 2030

The United Nations projects the world will experience about 560 disasters annually by 2030, roughly 1.5 per day.

2 in 5 Americans in high-risk areas

About 103 million people live in the 11 states with above-average expected annual losses from natural disasters.

We believe being prepared will one day be as ordinary as car insurance or a savings account. Quiet, universal, and nothing to do with fear.

What we believe

The rules we build by

Calm, not fear

Being ready should lower your stress, not raise it. This is about a Tuesday night, knowing you're covered.

Your data is yours

We never sell your data, and the fully offline desktop option means it never has to leave your house.

Software you can own

Lifetime exists because software used to be something you bought once and kept. It still can be.

Real families, real math

Durations are counted against your actual household, not averages. The number has to be honest to be useful.

Leadership

Meet the founder

I had my first child about two weeks into the COVID-19 shutdown. Overnight, emergency preparedness stopped being an abstraction and became deeply personal: it was about the people in my home I loved most, and whether I actually knew we would be okay.

I wanted one calm place to answer that question, built around the way our family actually lives. So we made it: readiness software that is private by design, honest about its math, and simple enough to live with every day. Independent and family built, with no investors to answer to and no interest in anyone’s data.

Today Provision Planner helps more than a thousand households, and a growing number of organizations, answer the question that started it: if something went wrong this week, how long would we be okay?
